Professor Liu Wei, former director of the Dermatology Hospital at the General Air Force Hospital, delivered a special lecture on "The Application and Prospects of Hyperspectral Imaging Technology in Cosmetics Whitening and Anti-Wrinkle Effects." In this speech, Professor Liu focused primarily on the breakthrough applications of hyperspectral imaging technology in skin component analysis. Through the self-developed HSA200 system, he achieved non-invasive quantitative detection of key indicators such as melanin and hemoglobin. By integrating optical simulation algorithms to construct multidimensional skin biology models, he provided precise data support for the evaluation of cosmetic efficacy.
Vice Director Liu Qi of the China National Light Industry Council Cosmetics Efficacy Evaluation and Testing Center (Beijing) delivered a special speech titled "Using Smart Technology to Make Cosmetic Efficacy Visible." Professor Liu Qi stated that by leveraging two-photon microscopy, hyperspectral analysis, and 3D facial imaging systems, it is possible to achieve non-invasive quantitative detection of skin components and dynamic visual presentation of effects, accurately tracking changes in whitening, anti-wrinkle, and soothing functions. Through real-world studies simulating various environmental scenarios (such as extreme weather and dynamic facial expressions), combined with statistics and machine learning to build comprehensive evaluation models, the actual performance of products under real-world conditions can be verified, providing scientific and scenario-based solutions for cosmetic research and efficacy validation.
Shiseido (China) Investment Co., Ltd. -Product Efficacy Evaluation Manager, Teacher Di Ye, delivered a special lecture on "Innovation and Practice of Efficacy Evaluation Technology." Teacher Di Ye stated that through skin elasticity visualization technology (combining mechanical stimulation with ultrasound imaging), it is possible to accurately analyze the elasticity differences between the stratum corneum and dermis, revealing their correlation with wrinkle depth. This provides a scientific and precise evaluation pathway for anti-aging product development, promoting the extension of efficacy validation from laboratory settings to real-world scenarios.
Estee Lauder Groups Deputy Director of Clinical and Claims, Dr. Ge Peilian, delivered a special lecture on "Research and Exploration into the Enhanced Skin Youthfulness of Post-Cosmetic Aesthetic Treatment Skincare Products." Dr. Ge systematically analyzed the scientific value and practical approaches of post-treatment skincare products, focusing on the core needs of consumers in Chinas rapidly growing light cosmetic market for post-treatment recovery and extended effects. The study validated the critical role of recombinant collagen formulations during the post-treatment repair phase using a fractional laser model.
Professor Wu Yue, Deputy Director of the Department of Cosmetics at Beijing Technology and Business University, delivered a special lecture on "The Application of Innovative Computer Vision Technology in the Evaluation of Cosmetics Efficacy." Professor Wu noted that through intelligent image analysis technology, precise detection of indicators such as follicle health, skin luster, and acne grading can be achieved. By integrating hyperspectral imaging with deep learning models, the efficiency and objectivity of detection are enhanced, providing the industry with a scientific and intelligent full-chain solution
